Database Encryption
Welcome to our Database Encryption Proxy, a tool that introduces seamless row and column level encryption to your existing databases with minimal disruption to your workflow. Our goal is to enable people to easily encapsulate data within relational databases, without sacrificing the crucial ability to query that data.
The proxy is designed to support the coexistence of both encrypted and unencrypted data, accommodating their presence even within the same row or column. Queries can span both encrypted and unencrypted data, and the proxy transparently handles determining if data requires decryption and which keys are needed.
Currently, the Database Encryption Proxy only supports PostgreSQL, however, we plan to widen our database platform support in the future.
